On the lower slopes of Kilimanjaro above Moshi, a guided trail winds through Chagga villages and shade-grown coffee farms before dropping into rainforest and ending at one of Tanzania's tallest waterfalls, plunging roughly 90 meters into a misty pool.
Most visits pair the hike with a traditional coffee tour at a local Chagga homestead, where you can watch beans go from tree to cup. It's an easy, rewarding half-day trip from Moshi and a great way to spend a rest day before or after climbing Kilimanjaro.
A dramatic single-drop waterfall, lush rainforest trails, and an authentic Chagga coffee-farming experience along the way.
Accessible year-round; trails are greenest β and can be slippery β during the MarchβMay and November rains.
